About

Ayesha Adamo is a certified yoga teacher who draws from a wealth of unique experience in movement and spiritual training—combining clean, rigorous vinyasa technique with the spark of inner mystical fire.

Ayesha began her exploration of the art and science of movement during her many years in ballet. She studied Qi Gong while living in Taiwan—the beginning of her journey into energy work and channeling techniques. Taiwan was also where Ayesha first took on the practice of yoga.

Ayesha’s asana sequencing is designed to focus on both the inner and outer transformations that are possible with the linking of breath to movement. Her focus is not only on the clear and healthy practice of each pose, but also on the transitions from shape to shape, as the light can also be found in the moments and spaces in between.

Alongside her spiritual work, Ayesha is a filmmaker, actor, and music artist who splits her time between New York and LA.

Supernal Yoga

Supernal Yoga

su·per·nal /səˈpərnl/ adj.
1. relating to the sky or the heavens; celestial.
2. of exceptional quality or extent.

Supernal Yoga is a style of moving meditation and yogic practice developed by Ayesha Adamo for the expansion of energized consciousness within the body.

In Kabbalah, the Tree of Life diagram is a map of the inner universe and the layers of consciousness therein. The diagram features ten visible circles, known as the sephiroth, and twenty-two paths linking them together. The sephiroth are emanations of deity, dimensions of awareness along the divine path, and the top three are known as the Supernal Triad. In many Western mystical traditions, the journey toward spiritual enlightenment travels one by one through the sephiroth, ever upward toward the Supernal Triad.

This journey, spiraling ever upward toward the celestial, is also the way of Supernal Yoga.

Energy Work, Mysticism & Magick

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

– 1 Corinthians 13:12 (King James Version)

In addition to her yoga practice, Ayesha is a practitioner of Western Ritual Magick and an ordained Hierophant in the Temple of Thelema, a lineage that emphasizes the mastery of inner alchemy. She is an initiate of the Soror Estai lineage of the A.’.A.’. and a long time practitioner of light work and various channeling techniques.

Ayesha aspires to weave these threads of Western mysticism and New Age energy work into the fabric of Eastern yogic asana to create powerful, transformational experiences for her students. Additionally, Ayesha leads guided meditation and channeling classes, as well as chakra clearing and light work sessions.
